Had a long and busy week? Us too. This is how we like to wind down at the end of the week and enjoy some “me” time!
Take a long, hot, bath. Bathing can be the ultimate way to step outside of your worries, clear your mind, and melt away any tenseness in your body. Try adding a CBD salt soak to ease your muscles and soak for at least 10-15 minutes. Add a candle and dim the lights for added relaxation!
Drink herbal tea. Herbal teas like chamomile, lemon, and lavender are geared towards relaxation and stress relief. Even the ritual of making tea can be very calming. Take deep breaths while waiting for the water to boil. Inhale the aroma of the tea leaves while steeping and feel the warmth of the mug. All of this surrounding the tea experience can be very helpful in calming down a stressful day.
Take a break from social media and television. I know, this one is a little challenging, even for us. But from time to time, we find it essential to unplug and wind down at the end of a busy week.
